Tawang is a mystic land - situated in the western part of Arunachal Pradesh. It is full of history, rich cultural heritage and rustic natural beauty. Tawang is home to the largest monastery in India - Tawang monastery also know as Gaden Namgye Lhatse.

In this backpacking trip, we will experience the history and local culture of the region closely like a local. Tawang is a photographer’s dream come true. At Sela Pass and along the way to Bum La there are still many old bunkers and structures which remind us of the Indo-China war. From Bum La we will get to see mountain ranges in Tibet and feel mesmerised by the beauty of Sangestsar Lake.
