Ladakh Trip

Exploring Ladakh - the land of high passes is an experience beyond words. This barren landscape surrounded by several Himalayan peaks is alluring and awe-inspiring. What adds to the natural beauty of this place is an ancient civilization, captivating people & beautiful monasteries. 

In this journey, we plan to visit some of the most picturesque places in the region, high altitude passes, monasteries, palaces, and war memorials. We will go on a hike to some of the unusual places during our journey and get mesmerized by the beauty of this landscape. We will also get flavors of local wildlife, local traditions, and food.

Trip Details


Day 1: Arrival in Leh; Rest Day Day 2: Local site in Leh - Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, Spituk Gompa Day 3: Leh to Turtuk via Khadulg La; En route we will visit Diskit Monastery Day 4: Hike through Balti village of Turtuk - Visit to local Meuseum and local food; Visit to LoC point (if possible that day) and drive back to Hunder - experience sand dunes and camel safari. Day 5: Early morning hike in Sand Dunes and drive to Pangogn via Shyok; En route we will see local wild life. Day 6: Hike to hills around Pangon Lake and drive back to Leh via Chang La Day 7: Visit to Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Confluence of Indus and Zanskar; Evening we will spend in Stok village and habe local food Day 8: Visit to Thiksey Monastery, hemis Monastery, Shey Palace, School popular from 3 Idiots movie Day 9: Departure from Leh

Cost Inclusions

  • All accommodation on twin sharing basis: Leh (5 Night); Turtuk (1 Night); Hunder (1 Night); Pangong Lake (1 Night)
  • All local transportation (except bike rentals if any)
  • All breakfasts
  • reliable trip captain who has travelled extensively across Ladakh and several other places in India and abroad
  • Inner line permits and local taxes if any

Cost Exclusions

  • Lunch and Dinner
  • Shopping and personal expenses if any
  • Any personal gear/clothing
  • Any arrangement not part of the trip arising becaue of any reason beyond control of trip captain
  • We will take utmost precautions in terms of safety and health of participants however if somebody falls ill we will make arrangements for their early return but they will have to bear all the expenses
  • Anything not specified in the 'Cost Inclusion'

Cancellation Policy

If participant leaves, cancels, withdraws or does not report to the event for any reason, the following charges will apply:

  • 30 or more days prior to the commencement of the program: 25% of the amount paid will be deducted
  • Cancellation between 30 days to 15 days before the commencement of the program: 50% of the amount paid will be deducted
  • Less than 15 days, no refund will be made
